Privacy

We keep this simple because what we do with your information is simple. We collect only what we need to make your map and get it to you.

What we collect and why

When you place an order, our payment provider Stripe collects your name, email address, delivery address and payment details. We never see or store your card details. Stripe shares your name, email and delivery address with us so we can make your map, post it and email you about your order.

If you order a personalised map, we also keep the location and any instructions you give us, because that is the map we are making for you.

What we do not do

We do not sell your information, share it with advertisers, or send you marketing emails. The only emails you will get from us are about your order.

Website analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits to the site. It does not use cookies and does not track you across the web.

How long we keep things

We keep order records for as long as we need them for accounting and tax purposes, which in the UK is six years. Stripe keeps payment records under its own privacy policy.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we no longer need it. Email hello@theweemapcompany.com and we will help.
